man, i remember when ubuntuforums were a hot bed of useful information. you'd ask a question, you'd get an answer, and it'd be a good one, by god. and if it wasn't, you'd tell 'em so and you'd get a better one.

now you wait a few hours, you don't get anything useful, and you don't even get your god damn money back. they're worse than pizza delivery boys.

what's my status? i'll tell you my god damn status. there're motherfuckin' cats in this motherfuckin' flat!

try editing your xorg.conf file by theantix (4.00 / 1) #1 Wed Jul 05, 2006 at 05:11:25 PM EST

make sure you see something like the following in the mouse section.
    Option "Protocol"    "imps2"
    Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
    Option "Buttons" "5"

That should take care of it -- let me know if you have any further problems.
